Box Office Policies
Ticket Processing Fee Structure:
A ticket processing fee is added to all ticket sales and is utilized to offset the increasing expenses and technology to support automated ticket sales. As of July 2011, the Palace Theater has adapted following Box Office processing structure for single ticket purchases.
- Per Ticket Fee: at the window, on the phone, and online (varies, $4.00 min.)
- Per Order Fee: at the window, on the phone and online is $5.00
- The Group Sales Order fee is now $10.00
Ticket Refunds: Once your order has been processed, no refunds or exchanges will be accepted. Please make sure you’ve selected the proper event time, venue, and seat locations (when applicable) prior to completing your order. We are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. If an event is cancelled we will refund the price of the ticket only. Service fees, processing fees, and any other fees – including delivery fees – are not refundable.
Lost Tickets: Lost tickets can be re-printed at the box office with a valid ID on the day of the event with a $2.00 per ticket processing fee.
Scalpers & Third Party Tickets: The Palace Theater DOES NOT allocate tickets or sell tickets to outside ticket brokers or resellers. We cannot verify the authenticity of tickets purchased from these agencies or brokers. Tickets purchased through scalpers, brokers or other third parties may be counterfeit and inadmissible. Also, please be aware that ticket brokers may add substantial fees on top of the price they paid for the tickets they are reselling. We have no control over the fees they charge their customers. We strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets directly from our website at www.palacetheaterct.org or www.tickets.com . When you purchase from us, you will get the most current seat information, the best availability, the best prices, and all of your money will go to support the Palace Theater.
Drinking Policy: No alcohol or any illegal substances may be brought into the Palace Theater, nor consumed in any of the local parking lots. Violators will be cited by Waterbury Police and are subject to significant fines.
Alcoholic beverages can be purchased by persons 21 years of age or older with legal identification inside the Palace Theater. The Palace Theater reserves the right to evict an underage guest who is observed to be drinking alcohol or to any guest who appears to be intoxicated. Palace Theater also reserves the right to deny entrance to an intoxicated guest.
All alcohol sales will cease after intermission or at the discretion of management.
