The Jay Geils Jazz And Blues Revue is a trip through the twin sisters of American roots music performed by a dynamic cast of virtuosic and engaging performers. Led by three-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee Jay Geils, founder and guitarist of the J.Geils Band, it is a salute to these two American art forms from the golden age of American Music.
From Count Basie, Bennie Goodman, BB King T-Bone Walker and more, this all-star review has something for everyone. Featured performers are award-winning jazz and blues guitarist Gerry Beaudoin, sultry vocalist and Max Jazz recording artist Cassandre Mckinley, world class jazz saxophonist Harry Allen and young vibraphone phenomena, Gerard Beaudoin III backed by Jesse Williams on bass and Gary Johnson on drums. This is a must see show for any fan or student of American culture’s contribution to the art’s.
