Trevor McQueen: Summer Jazz SeriesAugust 21, 2015
A recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Trevor McQueen made his Broadway debut as “Little Jake” in the revival of Annie Get Your Gun. He had the privilege of experiencing Pittsburgh's tremendous music scene while studying at his university and playing with some of the city's most talented emerging and established musicians.
McQueen has been consistently featured at Jazz at Andys at the Fairmont Pittsburgh for the past two years, headlining with such greats as legendary drummer Roger Humphries. He recently hit the stage at Birdland with The Sounds of '66, drawing upon a year that produced music from Bob Dylan, Wayne Shorter, Stephen Sondheim, The Beatles, and everything in between. The show also featured guest vocalist and two-time Grammy® award-nominee Jane Monheit.
This concert is part of New England Arts & Entertainment's Summer Jazz Series in the Palace Theater Poli Club. Subscriptions to all six shows, which include reserved seating, can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 203-346-2000.
