2nd Annual MSW Community Partnership AwardsOctober 06, 2016
Main Street Waterbury presents the 2nd Annual Main Street Community Partnership Award (formerly the Stephen R. Sasala II Community Partnership Award), an annual award ceremony honoring a commendable individual whose initiative, leadership, and personal commitment embody the spirit of partnership and community involvement.
This year's award will be presented to the Mattatuck Museum Executive Director Robert Burns. Although relatively new to the Greater Waterbury area, Robert Burns has quickly established himself as a passionate community advocate and dedicated leader since assuming his position at the Mattatuck in 2012. Under his guidance and mentorship, the museum has been thrust back into the forefront of the comunity spotlight and reestablished its role as one of the region's leading arts and culture institutions and partnering organizations.
Join Main Street Waterbury for an evening of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres as they recognize Robert’s commitment to our community while celebrating the positive impact partnerships play in revitalizing downtown and improving Waterbury’s future.
A portion of the event proceeds will go toward the Stephen R. Sasala, II Community Partnership Scholarship.
