Barnes & Noble Book Fair featuring Kara SundlunApril 25, 2015
Kara Sundlun, Emmy Award winning news anchor and WFSB-TV talk show host, and the Palace Theater will be holding a book discussion and signing at the Barnes & Noble in Waterbury on Saturday, April 25. Sundlun's book, Finding Dad: From Love Child to Daughter, is an inspirational memoir that explores her journey and the transformation a child’s life takes with the entry of a father.
Ms. Sundlun’s event is being featured during a book fair fundraiser for the Palace Theater. A portion of all purchases made that day by book fair supporters will benefit local performing arts and arts education. In order for the Palace to receive credit for in-store purchases, customers need to let their cashier know they are supporting the book fair, or can download and present this voucher at the point of sale. Volunteers from the Palace Theater will be in store to offer complimentary gift wrapping from 12PM-4PM, and Ms. Sundlun will be available for photo opportunities and book personalizations.
Kara Sundlun hosts the popular daytime talk show "Better Connecticut" with Scot Haney weekdays at 3 p.m. She is the proud recipient of two Emmy Awards for news reporting, and has been named "Best Local News Reporter" by Hartford Magazine, and Top “40 Under 40″ by the Hartford Business Journal and Connecticut Magazine.
