MAIN STREET, WATERBURY DRAWING SUPPORT 2nd Annual Downtown Draw announces sponsors WATERBURY – Main St. Waterbury with the Northwest CT Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and Waterbury Regional Chamber are pleased to announce the proud sponsors of the 2nd Annual Waterbury Downtown Draw scheduled for Saturday, September 30th from 9am-1pm. Contributing sponsors include: Attorney Mark Wren, Bunker Pharmacy, The Connecticut Store, Good Ideas: A Parent Teacher Store, Handy Stop, Hometown Buffet, Miss Greater Waterbury, Naugatuck Valley Community College Kids on Campus, Palace Theater, Process Servers, Regal Cinema, Shakesperience Productions Inc., Sovereign Bank, Timexpo-The Timex Museum, Torrington Supply, Town Fair Tire, The Worx Group, and VNA Healthcare. The Downtown Draw is an interactive street event that provides fun and cultural exposure to Waterbury and its surrounding towns’ students, artists and families. Walkways throughout the Waterbury Green will be marked with individual squares where area schools, non-profit organizations and artists can create chalk-art for a variety of prizes and local notoriety. In the case of inclement weather, The Connecticut Store on Bank Street will be the alternate venue. Judging will begin promptly at 1:00pm and winners will be announced immediately.
