Diva In Downtown: Aretha Franklin Plays the Palace

Rated among the most celebrated artists of our time, Aretha Franklin is an iconic soul, R&B and gospel singer unique not only for the power of her voice and passion of her music, but her ability to stay absolutely contemporary. Her latest album, "A Rose Is Still a Rose," teams Aretha with of today's hottest producers P.Diddy Combs and Jermaine Dupri, while her legendary hit singles "You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman), "Think," and "Respect," are staples on contemporary radio. The first woman inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, Miss Franklin has won 16 Grammys and has been ranked by VH1 and Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the greatest female vocalist of all time.
Tickets for Aretha Franklin are priced at $80, $60 and $50 and go on sale to the general public Friday, October 6, at 10:00am. To purchase tickets ahead of the general public, patrons are encouraged to call the Box Office at 203-755-4700 and become a Palace E-pass member. A $75 E-pass membership guarantees advanced email notification of newly added Palace events and the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public on sale date.
Tickets for the performance can be purchased by phone at 203-755-4700 or online at www.palacetheaterct.org. Groups of 20 or more receive a 10 percent discount.
