Palace Theater Announces November Line-up


WATERBURY –  The Palace Theater offers a diverse array of entertaining presentations this November, guaranteed to make the daylight saving hours that much brighter! Tickets can be purchased by phone at 203-755-4700, online at www.palacetheaterct.org, or in person at the Palace Box Office, located at 100 East Main Street in Waterbury. Groups of 20 or more enjoy specially discounted rates and should call the Group Sales hotline at 203-755-8483 ext. 134.


Marquee Moments
November 10 – 6:30pm
Celebrate the unveiling of the Palace’s brand-new state-of-the-art marquee! The evening with feature a ceremonial lighting of the marquee, a video tribute to the theater’s rich history, and a reunion concert featuring local musicians Cathy Bochicchio, Tom Chute, Marty Q and Stonehenge with a tribute to Magic.

Peter, Paul & Mary
November 11 - 8pm 
During its now legendary career, the folk trio won five Grammys, produced 13 Top 40 hits, as well as eight gold and five platinum albums. In this, their fifth decade together, Peter, Paul and Mary can be viewed less as performers than as purveyors of a universal, accessible language.

Aretha Franklin
November 12 – 7pm
An iconic soul, R&B and gospel singer, Aretha Franklin has won over 16 Grammys and proudly carries the title of music's reigning "Queen of Soul." Her legendary hit singles "You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman), and "Respect," are staples on contemporary radio.

Comedy Idols
November 19 – 7:30pm
Comedy Idols features the stars of NBC’s hit reality show "Last Comic Standing:" Ty Barnett, Roz, Michele Balan, Chris Porter, and Josh Blue. Part of the Naugatuck Savings Bank Comedy Series.

BB King
November 20, 2006 – 7:30pm 
His reign as King of the Blues has been as long as that of any monarch on earth. Yet B.B. King continues to wear his crown well. Still going strong at age 80, time has had no apparent effect on B.B. other than to make him more popular, more cherished, more relevant than ever.

Happy Thanksgiving Comedy Tour: Part 2
November 25 – 8pm
A comedy concert starring Rick Smiley, Lavell Crawford, Rob Stapleton and Marshall Brandon. Hosted by Queen of Comedy Sheryl Underwood.
