From December 12 through January 30, the Palace will host The Department of Children and Families’ Heart Gallery in theater’s mezzanine lobby. The Heart Gallery is a powerful pictorial display featuring the bios and photographs of remarkable children in need of permanent families. The display was designed by DCF to expose these children to the many people visiting the Gallery, in hopes of locating an adoptive resource. The Heart Gallery relocates every 8 weeks to different locations all over the state. In addition, The Palace Theater is also one of several partners teaming up with 96.5 TIC FM as a designated drop-off point for the We Are the Children annual holiday toy drive. From November 27 through December 15, the public is welcome to donate unwrapped, new toy donations at the theater’s box office, located at 100 East Main Street in Waterbury. All toy donations will benefit We Are The Children, a not-for-profit organization committed to raising funds for abandoned, battered, disadvantaged and needy children year round. # # # About the Palace Theater
