Just in time for your holiday shopping needs, Palace Theater gift certificates are available and make the perfect gift for everyone on your shopping list.
Tickets can be purchased by phone at 203-755-4700, online at www.palacetheaterct.org, or in person at the Palace Box Office, located at 100 East Main Street in Waterbury. Groups of 20 or more enjoy specially discounted rates and should call the Group Sales hotline at 203-755-8483 ext. 134. Waterbury Chorale presents Christmas at the Palace 2006 December 2, 2006 – 8:00pm WATR Radio personality Tom Chute will join the Waterbury Chorale in the presentation of the original work by Director Jacovino, Christmas at the Palace, a tribute to the Palace Theater and its place in Waterbury history. The main choral/orchestral works within a varied program will include familiar pieces such as "I Saw Three Ships," "Deck the Halls," "Jingle Bells," and a surprise visit from a famous holiday guest. Beach Boys Christmas Saturday, December 9 – 8pm The perennial boys of summer bring their unique sound to the Palace for a very special holiday concert, as they continue to perform with the same bold imagination and style that marked their explosive debut 40 years ago. Part of the Bank of America Celebrity Series. Tickets: $65/ $55/ $45/ $35 Elton John & Tim Rice’s Aida December 15 – 8pm; December 16 – 2pm & 8pm Winner of four 2000 Tony Awards, Elton John and Tim Rice’s AIDA tells the tale of an epic love triangle set to a Grammy Award score by John and Rice, their first collaboration since “The Lion King.” Part of the Webster Bank Broadway Series. Tickets: $56.25/ $51.25/ $46.25 James Brown December 27, 2006 – 7:30pm “The Godfather of Soul” and the undisputed “King of Funk,” James Brown is an American original whose catalog of classic recordings have made him the most sampled recording artist in history. Tickets: $70.25/ $60.25/ $50.25/ $40.25 Annie Day December 28, 2006 – 10:00am – 2:00pm Webster Hall will be flooded with curly red wigs and scruffy mutts looking for a lucky break when the Palace hosts Annie Day, a fun-filled family event on Thursday, December 28. This free event will feature an array of Annie-themed activities including a cartooning workshop, an Annie-Look-A-Like contest, a dog competition for a walk on role in the play, special ticket discount offers and more!
