WATERBURY – The Palace Theater debuts its innovative new series Signature Conversations, “intimate evenings…fascinating people” on February 28 at 7:00pm, with ESPN’s Chris Berman giving the Inside Scoop on the world of pro sports. Informative yet entertaining, Signature Conversations, which is sponsored by Waterbury Hospital, promises to stimulate and educate with a diverse roster of names and topics spanning the world of literature, politics, business, entertainment and other current facets in today’s society. Co-presented by the Waterbury Regional Chamber and the Palace Theater, The Inside Scoop: An Evening with ESPN’s Chris Berman is the first offering in the three show series and will feature a forty-five minute presentation by Berman, followed by a thirty minute question and answer session emceed by WATR News Director, Bob Sagendorf, a long-time friend and former colleague of Berman. An additional opportunity, which will be a unique feature of each Signature Conversations Series show, is the Pre-Game Meet and Great for those who want to get up close and personal with the speakers by purchasing a VIP ticket. Berman will meet with VIP ticket purchasers over wine and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 5:30 pm in the theater’s Poli Club.
