Palace Theater Announces April Line-up

 WATERBURY – The Palace Theater provides a sanctuary from Spring’s showers with an exciting April line-up! Tickets can be purchased by phone at 203-755-4700, online at www.palacetheaterct.org, or in person at the Palace Box Office, located at 100 East Main Street in Waterbury. Groups of 20 or more enjoy specially discounted rates and should call the Group Sales hotline at 203-755-8483 ext. 134.

CIRQUE DREAMS Jungle Fantasy
Tuesday, April 3 – 7:30pm
An international cast of graceful aerialists, spine bending contortionists, vine swinging characters, strong men and balancers bring this jungle dream to life in a lush, Broadway setting filled with wildly unpredictable designs, special effects, inventive choreography, puppeteering and dazzling costumes. Part of the St. Mary’s Hospital Family Series.

Great Expectations
Thursday, April 5 – 9:30am & 11:30am
Experience the development of Young Pip in the whirling world of London’s society in TheatreworkUSA’s Off-Broadway presentation of Great Expectations, based on Charles Dickens’ seminal novel. Part of the ShopRite Education Series.

Good Friday Gospel Celebration 2007

The Good Friday Gospel Celebration 2007 is designed to introduce Connecticut to some of our greatest gospel singers, including Kelly Price, Dave Hollister, Myron Butler & Levi, Lyric Sings, and DeWayne Woods. The event is hosted by Rev. Willie E. McKay and is presented by Love Temple Church, Inc.

Shakesperience Productions Inc. presents: The Complete History of America (abridged)

Take an abbreviated journey through 600 years in 6000 seconds led by three actors in this irreverent, fast paced romp through American history. “Hysterical as it is historical,” this performance will benefit the educational theatre programs of Shakesperience Productions.

WAMS presents Hypnotica starring David Martin

Waterbury Arts Magnet School presents "Hypnotica" a night of magic and music starring renowned illusionist David Martin. The performance will showcase Martin’s illusions set to the Rock/Pop sounds of special musical guest Xoch.

MatheMagic!™ starring Bradley Fields
Thursday, April 26 – 9:30am
Focusing on counting, fractions, shapes and mathematical expressions, internationally celebrated magician Bradley Fields divulges the secrets behind some starling math tricks while giving kids a new fascination and appreciation for the subject. Best for grades K-5.
