Palace Theater Announces November Line-up
WATERBURY – From the wonderful Wizard of Oz to the soul/ funk sounds of Tower of Power and Average White Band, the Palace Theater’s November line-up offers a variety of entertainment everyone can be thankful for! Tickets can be purchased by phone at 203-755-4700, online at www.palacetheaterct.org, or in person at the Palace Box Office, 100 East Main Street in Waterbury. Groups of 20 or more qualify for discounted rates and should call the Group Sales hotline at 203-755-8483 ext. 134.
Connecticut Opera Presents DON GIOVANNI
Sunday, November 2 – 2:00pm
Don Giovanni, a.k.a. Don Juan, is the legendary "love-em and leave-em" scoundrel of history and opera. Set in Spain in the 1600s, Don Giovanni chronicles the lover’s conquests as he is pursued by the ghost of a Commendatore, who demands the Don repent and reform. This performance is conducted by Maestro Willie Anthony Waters and stars the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and CT Opera Chorus.

No matter who you are, where you live, or your taste in music, Tower of Power will find you, and once that happens, it's all over. Tower of Power is one of those rare bands who can claim to be the real deal, ground zero Soul. Opening for the band is Average White Band, one of the best soul and funk bands in the history of music. 8TH ANNUAL THANKSGIVING EVE COMEDY FESTIVAL
Wednesday, November 26 – 7:30pm
A comedy show for ages 30- 60, this comedy event features two hours of non stop laughs with three comedians hand-picked by Dave Reilly, including comedians Carl Yard “The Ragin Bajan” and Joseph “The Truth” Anthony.
