The arts are basic to education and have a tremendous impact on the developmental growth of every child. In addition to studying the arts for art's sake, experiencing and making works of art benefits students in their intellectual, personal and social development.
One of the Palace’s primary objectives involves working closely with local academic institutions on the development of a comprehensive and exemplary arts and education program that instills today’s youth with a passion for the arts. This has included the creation of a Broadway-based student workshop series, arts and academic integrated in-school and after-school programs, and hands-on job-shadowing and internship programs.
Not only do we consider it our responsibility to present programs that are curriculum-based and entertaining, but our mission is to provide students, both young and old, with qualitative arts experiences that encourage creative thought, critical thinking, positive self-expression and the desire to learn.
