2ND ACT Life Stories

2ND ACT Series to resume in March 2021! The Palace Theater is Covid-certified for reopening while adhering to the current crowd size gathering mandates and safety protocols of Connecticut.

NEW STREAM FROM HOME OPTION! Still hesitant about indoor gatherings? 2ND ACT presentations are now available to stream. Watch from the safety of your own home, while still able to participate in the Q&A section with Crowdcast! Visit the Palace Theater's Crowdcast page

Featuring life stories by people of a certain age, 2ND ACT launched in September 2018 to critical and patron acclaim. 2ND ACT is a monthly storytelling series featuring ordinary people sharing the extraordinary things they are doing in the 2ND (half) ACT of their lives.

Inspirational, experiential and comical, these after-50 life stories will ignite your own imagination to join the growing community of 2ND ACTers! Stories are 45–60 minutes in length followed by Q&A with the audience.

Join us for stories by ordinary people doing extraordinary things that will inspire YOU to write your own 2ND ACT!
