Gina Barreca is a Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor of English Literature at the University of Connecticut, winner of UConn’s highest award for teaching, and recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award from the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor in 2026. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Cambridge University, and CUNY, Gina can often be found in the Library of Congress or the make-up aisle of Walgreens.
