Concessionaire

Broad Functions:

Provides customer service to patrons before and during shows involving selling snacks and soft drinks. Shifts are show-based and can range from 3–4 hours, depending on events. This is not a bartender position.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell concessions before and during shows and events
  • Greet patrons and answer questions
  • Keep concessions areas neat and organized

Qualifications:

  • Basic math skills required
  • Night & weekend availability preferred
  • Age requirement: 16

Special Events Staff

Broad Functions:

Provides the highest standard of customer service to guests during private events and weddings involving decorating, serving & clearing, and other general hospitality duties. Shifts are event-based and can range from 5–8 hours, depending on events.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
  • Assist vendors (i.e. caterers, entertainment, florists, photographers)
  • Assist during set-up and run of wedding ceremony and reception

Qualifications:

  • Previous catering or event experience preferred
  • Night & weekend availability preferred
  • Age requirement: 18

Patron Greeter

Broad Functions:

Provides customer service to patrons before and after shows involving providing guidance to the Palace Theater entrance and answering patron questions. Shifts are show-based and are 2 hours long over the course of an event (1:15 before and 45 minutes after event). Position consists of outside duties (Palace logo jackets, radios & flashlights will be provided).

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a welcoming face and customer service liaison to patrons arriving to the Theater
  • Provide guidance and direction for those coming to or from the parking garage
  • Assist with show-related questions

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand outside for extended periods of time
  • Age Requirement: 18
