Sally Terrell began a lifelong love affair with piano and singing at age six, poking out melodies alongside her father, a classically trained pianist and jazz aficionado who passed along his love of music.
After building a career as a college writing teacher, Terrell began singing professionally when she and her husband formed the Green Jazz Band. Whether serenading audiences in English, French, or Portuguese, Terrell’s intuitive interpretations and razor-sharp ear showcase a gift for sharing the timeless stories of jazz. The original songs on her latest release, Feel Alive, mark her debut as a singer-songwriter.
