Susan is a passionate advocate for recognizing the inherent value and purpose within every individual, especially children. Susan is now sharing her heartfelt message through children's literature.

Her book, The Whisper That Is Mine, is a testament to her belief that everyone has value even when mistakes are made, and that our worth is rooted in who we are, not just our actions. Susan is committed to empowering audiences, young and old, to embrace their inherent value and make a positive impact. After reading aloud her children's book, she will lead a craft activity for the little ones.

This storytime is recommended for ages 3-6. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event.

A 1992 graduate of Boston University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, with distinction and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Susan brings a strong academic foundation in understanding human potential to her work. Her deep commitment to serving others has been recognized with community accolades, including the 2018 Corporate Volunteer of the Year Award by the Hartford Business Journal and the 2017 MADD Community Service Award.
