Tragedy to Triumph returns with more hopeful stories of moving forward after overcoming great tragedies in life.
This year's overarching theme explores how tragedy can shape the dynamics of relationships, both between couples and within families. The panel group includes Lance & Dawn LoRusso, Randye Kaye & Ali Herman, and Rich & Robin Sills.
For Robin & Rich, and Dawn & Lance, serious and ongoing health issues have affected their relationships and family lives in deeply personal ways. For Randye and her daugter Ali, the impact comes from the ongoing effects of a son/brother's mental health struggles, and the ways those challenges have shaped their family during Ali's childhood and into the present.
Through these stories, the event will examine how individuals and families navigate adversity, adapt to profound change, and find ways to maintain connection in the face of tragedy.
